& Other Important Information
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION

Payment and cancellation conditions may change depending on the tour.

Name Corrections

We do not charge for name corrections.
However, airlines may treat any change as a new booking and charge 100% of the fare. These costs are the traveler’s responsibility.

Other Changes

We don’t charge for minor booking changes, but suppliers (hotels, airlines, transportation partners) may apply fees.
The closer you are to the departure date, the higher these costs may be.


Cancellation by Traveler

You may cancel your trip at any time by sending written notice to us or through your travel agent.

  • Before final payment is due: Deposit (and insurance) is non-refundable.

  • After final payment is due: Cancellation fees apply.

If your cancellation changes your room type (e.g., double to single), additional charges may apply.

If you do not show up on the departure day and do not notify us, cancellation fees are 100%.

Travel Protection Plan fees are non-refundable.

If covered by your travel insurance, you may file a claim with your insurer for refunds.

Cancellation by Anatolia Expedition

We may modify or cancel a tour at any time due to operational needs, low enrollment, or unforeseen circumstances.

If canceled due to Force Majeure

You will receive a Future Travel Credit for the amount paid, minus unrecoverable third-party costs. Credit is valid for 24 months.

If canceled for other reasons

You may choose an alternative comparable trip or receive a full refund.

Early Return or Illness

If you leave the tour early due to illness or personal reasons, no refunds are issued for unused services.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for such situations.


COVID-19 refers to coronavirus disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus and variants.

Because requirements change frequently, you may be asked to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test before or during your travels. Airlines, hotels, and local authorities may also impose their own regulations.

You are responsible for meeting all health requirements for Turkey and any countries visited or transited. No refunds will be issued if you are unable to travel due to failure to comply.

If you test positive while abroad, you must follow the laws of the country you are in—including mandatory isolation. Any related costs (accommodation, transport, meals) are your responsibility.

By traveling with Anatolia Expedition, you voluntarily accept all risks associated with COVID-19 exposure.


Anatolia Expedition partners with fully licensed and insured travel suppliers worldwide. U.S. travelers may also be protected under programs similar to the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.


Airfare Deposits

Air-inclusive packages may require up to 100% non-refundable payment at booking.

Once airline tickets are paid for, they are subject to that airline’s rules and are usually non-refundable.

Changes After Ticketing

Any change after ticketing may incur:

  • Service fees

  • Airline penalties up to 100% of the fare

If you “no-show” your outbound flight, all connecting and return flights will be canceled with no refund.

A Force Majeure Event includes situations beyond our control, such as:

  • Natural disasters

  • Political unrest or armed conflict

  • Airline cancellations or border closures

  • Pandemics or epidemics

  • Government restrictions

  • Labor disputes

If a Force Majeure Event affects your tour, we may modify, delay, or cancel arrangements.


If your Turkey tour includes flights, they will be clearly listed in your itinerary online or in your confirmation documents.
To issue your tickets, guests must provide:

  • Full legal name (exactly as shown on passport)

  • Date of birth

  • Gender

Providing incorrect or incomplete information may result in airline fees or, in the worst case, denied boarding.

Deposits

Your reservation is confirmed once we receive your non-refundable deposit. If we do not receive your deposit within 3 business days, your booking will be automatically canceled.

Some air-inclusive tours or promotional discounts may require additional or immediate deposits.

Final Payment

Final payment is due by the deadline stated in your booking confirmation.
If payment is late:

  1. We’ll send a reminder.

  2. If payment is still not received within 72 hours, your booking will be canceled.

Cancellation fees will apply.

Credit Card Payments

When booking, you will need to provide:

  • Credit card number

  • Billing address

  • Expiration date

  • Security code

Your travel agent may hold your payment until your trip is confirmed.


We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

  • Trip interruption or cancellation

  • Medical expenses

  • Emergency evacuation

  • Lost or delayed baggage

  • Coverage during pandemics

You may choose any insurance provider you prefer. Failure to obtain adequate coverage may leave you responsible for additional costs. We encourage purchasing insurance at the time of booking.


Your safety is extremely important to us. International security conditions can change quickly, and government travel advisories may require adjustments to itineraries, accommodations, or—rarely—trip cancellations.

By booking, you acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks. You are responsible for making informed travel decisions.


When you make a reservation with Anatolia Expedition and we accept your booking, you enter into a travel agreement with us.
By enrolling in and paying for a tour, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

These conditions apply to all bookings unless otherwise stated in writing by an authorized representative of the company. If any term becomes invalid, the remaining terms stay in full effect.

Your departure date is the date shown on your booking confirmation.
